How to Delete Recent Searches on Maps

In today’s digital age, maps have become an indispensable tool for navigating through both the physical and virtual worlds. Whether you’re using Google Maps, Apple Maps, or any other mapping service, recent searches can accumulate over time, cluttering your search history and potentially compromising your privacy. If you’re looking to clear out your recent searches on maps, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Google Maps

1. Open the Google Maps app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner to access the menu.
3. Scroll down and tap on “Your Places.”
4. Under “Maps,” tap on “Recent.”
5. Here, you’ll see a list of your recent searches. To delete a single search, tap on the three dots next to it and select “Remove.”
6. To delete all recent searches at once, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, then select “Clear all.”

Apple Maps

1. Open the Apple Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.
