How to Clear Your Recently Played on Apple Music
If you’re an Apple Music user, you might have noticed that the app keeps track of all the songs and albums you’ve recently played. While this feature can be helpful for discovering new music, it can also clutter your library and make it difficult to find your favorite tracks. First, open the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Ensure that you’re signed in with your Apple ID, as you’ll need to be logged in to access your account settings.
Step 2: Access the Recently Played Section
Once the app is open, tap on the “Library” tab at the bottom of the screen. Then, scroll down and tap on “Recently Played” to view your list of recently played songs and albums.
Step 3: Clear the Entire List
In the Recently Played section, you’ll see a list of all the tracks you’ve recently played. To clear the entire list, tap on the “Clear” button at the top right corner of the screen. A confirmation message will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to clear the list. Tap “Clear” again to confirm.
Step 4: Clear Individual Tracks
If you only want to remove specific tracks from your recently played list, you can do so by tapping on the three dots next to the track you want to remove. A menu will appear, and you can select “Remove from Recently Played” to delete that particular track.
